Choice of whether to put book on list is entirely with the author - no royalties involved and is seen purely as a charity donation by the author. There is some talk of the possibility that authors could offset lost royalties against tax - that sounds like a good idea especially if the books are seen as a charity donaiton. This particular author believes that for the time being at least it is a good idea but a lot depends on who the volunteer distributors are and who ends up with the books. I must confess to receiving a whole pile of WBN books from Waterstones last year in return for participating in a WBN event - I haven't read any of them yet!J.
